 Due to social distancing requirements necessary to stop the spread of COVID-19. Summer Village Council is cancelling this year's Annual Information Meeting.  An information package will be mailed out to residents, with an opportunity for comments and questions.

There are some changes to our usual spring clean-up program for residents. In the past we have made a large waste bin available on the May Long Weekend.  Residents were encouraged to place extra waste and larger items in the bin. This program will not be available this year. Instead, residents will have the opportunity to place those items curbside for pick-up on Saturday July 18th. Residents will not have to bring their items to the bin, just bring it out to the curb in front of their pro...

 Fortis Alberta will be driving through the area, checking on lines, over the next few weeks. This is routine maintenance.

Just a friendly reminder for the children using our playground this winter. Do not play on snowy and icy equipment. A good general rule of thumb is if the roads and sidewalks are slippery, the playground equipment will be slippery as well.

Make sure to attend this year's Annual Information Meeting. We have some special guests, including the RCMP and our local MLA.  There will also be discussions on projects from 2018-2019 and time for questions. Following the meeting and lunch, we will head to the playground for a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony!!
