On April 18, 2016 the Silver Beach Council passed Bylaw #2016-03 - the Cosmetic Lawn Fertilizer Bylaw. Council is concerned with the water quality of Pigeon Lake and the detrimental effects of Cosmetic Lawn Fertilizers on water quality.  As a result, Council deemed it necessary to have restrictions on the use of Cosmetic Lawn Fertilizers in the summer village. At the February 16 regular meeting, Council passed Bylaw 2016-002 - Council Procedure Bylaw.  This Bylaw prescribes how the agenda for Council meetings is set and the general rules for conducting Council meetings. Council meetings are open to the public; however, if anyone wishes to place an item on the meeting agenda or make a presentation to Council, they must make a submission to the Chief Administrative Officer not later than seven (7) days prior to the day of the meeting.
