July 12th, 2025 at the John Turgeon Hall in the Summer Village Sundance Beach from 10 am to 7 pm.
There are three positions available for Summer Village Council.
Candidates intending to run must notify the Summer Village of Silver Beach via email at info@silverbeach.ca with the Notice of Intent Form.
Once confirmed by the SV of Silver Beach the name of the candidate will be included on the Register of Candidates and posted publicly in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act.
Candidates can begin accepting campaign contributions and incurring expenses ONLY AFTER the Notice of Intent is completed. If there are no contributions being collected to a candidates campaign, the Notice of Intent can be filed on nomination day along with Form 4 Nomination and Candidates Acceptance.
Note: the Notice of Intent is a new requirement under the legislation and differs from the nomination process.
